Aurora Cultural Arts District
Experience four days of global cinema, art, culture, food, music, and community through the Diasporic FilmHub Village.
A Festival Without Borders
August 6–9, 2026 | Aurora Cultural Arts District
The Colorado Diasporic Film Festival returns for its third edition with the launch of the Diasporic FilmHub Village, an immersive cultural experience transforming Aurora’s East Colfax arts corridor into a vibrant village of storytelling, creativity, and global connection.
Over four inspiring days, filmmakers, artists, musicians, youth, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and audiences from Colorado and around the world will gather to celebrate the stories and cultures of diasporic communities.
Instead of taking place in only one venue, the festival will activate multiple community spaces throughout the Aurora Cultural Arts District. Each location will become a unique Village Hut featuring film screenings, filmmaker conversations, youth programming, visual arts, cultural food, live music, poetry, community dialogue, networking, and family-friendly experiences.
Explore films from Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and communities across the United States.
Meet independent filmmakers and international guests. Discover local artists and businesses. Enjoy global cuisine, live performances, cultural conversations, and opportunities to build meaningful connections across communities.
Come experience a festival without borders—where every story matters, every culture belongs, and the entire community becomes part of the village.
