The documentary asks a simple but profound question: How do two people from such different places not only stay together, but thrive together? Director Biography<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Born in Berne, Switzerland, in 2007, Samuel Bossart<\/strong> moved to Singapore at the age of three. Having grown up across Asia and the Middle East, he developed an early fascination with filmmaking, starting with YouTube videos at seven. Now eighteen, he presents his debut documentary, “Bernard and Rashna: A Swiss-Indian Story.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director Statement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a third-culture kid, I am fascinated by what makes cross-cultural relationships last. Bernard and Rashna, a bi-national couple from very different cultural and social backgrounds, married at 22 and are still happily together in their late seventies. In this film, I search for the secret behind their enduring love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
